This article is basically about the research work by Akinori Takahashi and Yuki Watanabe ,associate professor and assistant professor at the national Institute of Polar Research (NIPR) on Adelie penguins.Video cameras capable of being turned on automatically when detecting water and then taping up to 90 minutes have been attached to the aquatic birds to film scenes under the sea ice near the south pole and to shot footage of the behavior of penguins under the frozen sea surface.The project is aimed at uncovering the little-known ecology of Adelie penguins.
